Meg recently shared these prints with me which she made shortly after watching the film, which inspired her to do some making for pure enjoyment and healing.
Here's what Meg said:
'I don't usually make prints, but when I do, I really just make them for the sheer enjoyment of it. I literally carved the ladies face (kind of thinking like a stamp print?) whilst I was on the phone to my friend.... there's no sense of trying to achieve perfection in it for me. The process of print making is so slow and methodical, which is very different from what I normally do in my art and writing - and, because I'm just a beginner, I can't get too complex with my designs. It's the perfect craft for a light spot of catharsis.'
