Film

Amber has worked as a Director and Production designer with experience on many short indie productions. Much of this work was created during their BA Contemporary Media practice at the University of Westminster. For now, they are taking a break from film and moving image to focus on painting, but it won't be forever.

Art as Catharsis (2019) is a 30-minute documentary that explores the positive effects of various art forms through a range of people. The film can now be streamed for free here!

Production Designer & Guest Director

Visions of a Vivid Life (2020) is a highly acclaimed four-part web series on which Amber did production design and guest-directed episode 3 'Memento Mori'. The full series is currently available on Youtube, find episode 3 here.

Kafka's a young man looking for money, he picks up a job at a subscription service for memories. He's about to shadow the experienced Mako and make his first donation when the job goes haywire.

Waiting (2020) Dir. Sayna Fardaraghi

An experimental micro-short film about waiting and the idea that in time, good things will come.

This film was the highest-rated live-action short on Letterboxd's 2020 list. An amazing feat for a no-budget student short.

Artist, Designer & Set Dresser

Make Art - Evo by Audient (2020) 

Amber live-painted a large canvas as well as planning, designing, and executing the practical effect that reveals the glowing 'evo' logo in the finished painting for this commercial for Audient.

 

This was an exciting commission to support the release of the brand's new product.

Micro Shorts (2018-2020) 

Amber has directed, self-shot, edited and created many experimental micro shorts which can be found on her YouTube channel, shown above is 'A Step on the Other Side' a reflective piece made during a trip to Tasmania to meet their family.

Showreels

Amber's showreels show a broader variety of past work in short snippets. Recent work which is yet to be shared includes Costume Design for a short film 'The Smell of Cut Grass' and she is currently in production Directing a new documentary mini-series.
